Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has been a busy boy of late. In a Quixotic quest to
overturn er, steal Joe Biden’s electoral victory over Donald Trump, he’s contacted numerous GOP state officials to see what could be done about tossing mail-in ballots. Graham’s efforts came to light after Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger blew the whistle on him. If true, Graham should show himself the door, or at least face censure, the likelihood of either of which is vanishingly distant in today’s GOP.
Raffensperger, meanwhile, is feeling the white-hot anger of the Cult45. A lifelong rock-ribbed conservative, he’s discovering that the only litmus test for being a Republican these days is one’s unquestioning fealty to Trump.
(It’s also worth noting that Raffensperger lays the blame for Trump’s loss on Trump himself, pointing out that his admonition to supporters to not trust voting by mail wound up suppressing turnout in Biden’s favor).
